RABRI LASSI

Rabri and lassi both are sweet treats from the northen part of India. These two have individually made a well known place in Indian food history, yet they compliments each other very nicely. Rabri with lassi is like "cherry on the cake". Though, making rabri is a time taking process but you can always prepare and refrigerate it for some-days and use as required. (For rabri recipe check on my previous post). Making lassi may be quicker than you make an instant noodless. Its delicious, easy to make and healthier option in a hot summer day.


INGREDIENTS:

  • Curd, 2 cups

  • Milk, 1 cup

  • Rabri, 1.5 cups

  • 2-3 tbsp. sugar (or as per your taste)

  • Grated coconut, 1/2 cup

  • Chopped cashew, pista and cherry (as required)

  • Ice cubes

PROCEDURE:

  • Blend curd, milk, sugar and ice with a blending jar.

  • Add some rabri to the base of the glass. Add cashew and pista.

  • Pour lassi into it.

  • Top with some more rabri, grated coconut, chopped dry fruits and cherry.

  • Serve chilled and give a break to the scorching heat.
